Hard Goodbyes

This weekend we said our final goodbyes to friends in Frisco. It was one of the saddest and sweetest moments of our lives. So thankful for friends that would throw us a surprise party, slave tirelessly to help us pack, and even shoe polish our car like teenagers. We are loved.


The boxes still make it tough to move, but we had beautiful weather today and made some good progress. We’re starting to feel more human, or in Grady’s case, more monkey.

Day One

Today is our first day just us in the ranch house. Loved watching Abbey make flowers from leaves for hours.

In case you were wondering… this is not what you want the tires of the trailer holding all your worldly possessions to look like at midnight on the side of the road.


In the midst of a season of much change, this old live oak reminds me of how consistent and faithful God remains.
